It was an excellent day to be a Chieftain swimmer on Saturday, 2/13 at the CBC Championships where the girls earned the 6th straight CBC Championship for Bellefontaine. The girls knew that this year was going to be a battle with Kenton Ridge, and they came ready. The night was full of strong swims, best times, and team spirit. This year CBC was limited to 8 person teams and every swimmer knew that their job was equally important, and the girls managed to score in all but one swim.

Team was everything for this group at CBC. These girls supported and pushed one another while doing their job to earn every point possible. Every athlete on this team wanted to swim whatever would be best for the group and were happy to mix up relays to score more points. The team also found ways to encourage each other, bringing energy to the meet despite the lack of spectators. I am proud of these athletes and love their passion for this sport and their team.
