The Lady Chieftains won a hard fought battle against Urbana Monday night with a final score of 1-0. These athletes played a physical, sound match, and they showed some real heart and determination.

Scoring for the Chieftains in the first half was Parker Penhorwood off an assist from Carmen Shumaker.

Keeper Lindsey Heminger had 6 saves and earned the shutout, and keeper Lexi Robinson had 2 saves.

The Lady Chieftains are back in action Wednesday against Springfield Shawnee.
