This girls team walked into the season ready to fill big shoes after such a dominant season last year and they are off to a strong start. They are working hard every day in practice and have to work through these first several meets in order to see the biggest time drop at the end of the season. I was proud of our team for being tough tonight. We know what we need to work on and have a plan moving forward. Tonight also sparked a new fire in some of our swimmers as they realized they are faster and stronger than they knew. I am excited to see how far this will take them. The team next competes Saturday at the Trotwood-Greenon Sprint Invitational with races beginning at 2:20 PM.
