The Bellefontaine tennis team finished their dual match schedule with a shut out over visiting Urbana.
In singles Courtney Sims started things off downing Hannah Louck 6 – 0, 6 – 1. “Courtney had a close match the first time she played Hannah this season, but today she got off to a quick start and stayed in control the entire match.,” Coach Stein commented after the match.
Samantha Starkey continued with a win at second singles over Rachel White 6 – 1, 7 – 5. “Samantha started off with a great first set win, then rallied from 4 – 5 down in the second set winning the last 3 games to close out the match. This was Senior Night and it was nice to see Na and Taryn both finish their careers with wins,” commented Stein.
